In 1994 Neil Anderson started Anderson Hydraulics. Beginning by servicing the local farming and plant hire community’s hydraulic ram needs, eventually building the company up to servicing all of UK and Scottish Coal Open Cast Mining excavators and dump truck cylinders. Andersons now service the cylinder repair needs of most major OEM’s and manufacture their own Aftermarket cat 6030 and 6018 cylinders which are sold all over the world.
Anderson Hydraulics quickly became one of the UK’s biggest hydraulic ram repair and manufacture workshop, adding a re-chroming facility later.
Although now quite a large and busy workshop Neil never forgot about the clients that were by his side from the beginning and will never refuse a cylinder no matter the size of the client and will often give a 24/48hr turn around to a farmer or small plant hire firm where down time can have a huge effect on their business.
Anderson Hydraulics can accommodate any hydraulic unit up to 5.5m with a weight of 8000kg. We also have an offsite chrome plating facilities whereby a large rod that is damaged can be re-chromed and precision ground back within specification.
In the event that you experience a failure with any hydraulic cylinder, regardless of where it was purchased from or the age of the unit, it will be collected from any location in the UK and inspected by a highly qualified and experienced technician. We also offer our repair services to global clients and can discuss the best way forward when it comes to the inspection of the unit.
